The Juvenile Law Group, PLLC is one of three attorney groups that are contracted to provide representation for children in the Juvenile Section of The Third Circuit Court of Michigan.

The Group’s attorneys are responsible for two judges’ courtrooms and four referee courtrooms at Lincoln Hall of Justice in Detroit. In addition, the Group is responsible for representing children at preliminary hearings at the Juvenile Detention Facility on weekdays.

Our role in juvenile court proceedings is two-fold. We advocate for children as attorneys in delinquency matters. In child protection cases our role is lawyer guardian ad litem (L/GAL). As L/GAL, we provide independent representation of children’s best interests to the court.
